Race Night
What is a Race Night ?
A typical evening lasts for up to 3 hours and will consist of up to 8 races, selected randomly from a choice of DVD’s. Before each race the betting desk (Tote) will be opened where, for a minimum stake, bets can be placed on the horse that you expect to win. The race will be shown on a big projection screen with sound delivered via a 2-speaker PA system. With commentary provided throughout the race, coupled with exciting close finishes, lots of cheering and rivalry can be expected. At the end of the race the winning horse is confirmed and also displayed on the screen; those lucky ticket holders that bet on the 1st place horse then collect their winnings from the betting desk.
Name a Horse
For just an extra £3 you can buy yourself a horse at the same time as your entry ticket. This is also great for those unable to attend the night but would love to contribute somehow as prior to the evening, for £3 you can still buy a horse and name it. The horse name and owner will appear on the Race Card and you move into the owners enclosure to watch your horse run and if your horse wins, you will win a prize.

We're very excited to be hosting Liam Ryan Race Nights on Friday 26th April in the main school hall. If you've never been to one before you're in for a treat.
Tickets are £6 entry and if you want to own a horse on the night its only an extra £3. So if you fancy yourself as the next Aidan O'Brian or Venetia Williams book your tickets and see you at the finishing post.
